Generation Life would like to express its deep sorrow and concern regarding the murder of late-term abortionist George Tiller on Sunday.
The killing of Dr. Tiller is an example of how the culture of death has affected so many souls in our great country. Disrespecting human life from the moment of conception has lead to a widespread disrespect for human life across the board. Murder, whether committed against an innocent, unborn child or against an abortionist responsible for the deaths of children in the womb, is wrong. It does not serve the pro-life cause to fight violence with violence. In fact, it is a contradiction of what it means to be pro-life.
Generation Life is a movement of young people dedicated to building a culture of life by spreading the pro-life and chastity messages to our peers.
We pray for Dr. Tiller and hope that the troubled individual who committed this terrible crime will see the great disservice he has done to our most fundamental of human rights…. Life.
