Sarah Palin: A Beacon of Hope!

"The moment he was born, I knew that moment my prayers had been answered," she said. "Trig is a miracle. He is the best thing that ever happened to me, and I want other women to have that opportunity."
She challenged the notion that children must be born perfect and that unplanned pregnancies are inconvenient and can be ended by abortion. "I know for sure my son is perfect just as he is, made in the image of God," she said.
She asked the crowd to keep working for the "culture of life" in America.
"Life is ordained, life is precious," she said.

Kids Curb Marital Satisfaction (??!!)

An eight-year study of 218 couples found 90 percent experienced a decrease in marital satisfaction once the first child was born. Couples who lived together before marriage experienced more problems after the birth of a child than those who lived separately before marriage, as did those whose parents fought or divorced.
Sounds like they surveyed a bunch of immature, self-centered individuals to me. But I guess that is our current society and culture. Kids are no longer viewed as gifts of marriage, but as commodities....especially as you see how many couples force the "gift" by "obtaining" a child through IVF. That baby isn't viewed as a special child of God that was given to them through their marriage, but as something that they can go out and buy. No wonder so many couples then feel it is okay to be disappointed in their "purchase."

Gay "families" to join White House egg roll

Obama: Pandering to the minority and the deeply mislead homosexual population. Supporting homosexual activities and their "desire" to marry and try to be a family, doesn't make them a true family. The true core of a family is a mother and a father. That is, a MALE and a FEMALE. Time and time again, research has shown that this is the best situation for a child to grow up with.
It is sad that so many people are being encouraged to continue in their unnatural and sinful behavior. If we truly love our neighbor, we should try to help them live the best life possible. We point out other certain behaviors that people should not do (murder, theft, adultery, incest, abuse, rape, etc). That doesn't mean we are judging the person, but the behavior. Just because society is starting to "accept" homosexual behavior, doen't all of a sudden make it right.

"Abortion Is A Blessing"
The Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge has unanimously elected a new dean, Dr. Katherine Ragsdale.
"And when a woman becomes pregnant within a loving, supportive, respectful relationship; has every option open to her; decides she does not wish to bear a child; and has access to a safe, affordable abortion - there is not a tragedy in sight -- only blessing. The ability to enjoy God's good gift of sexuality without compromising one's education, life's work, or ability to put to use God's gifts and call is simply blessing.
These are the two things I want you, please, to remember - abortion is a blessing

and our work is not done. Let me hear you say it: abortion is a blessing and our work is not done. Abortion is a blessing and our work is not done. Abortion is a blessing and our work is not done.
I want to thank all of you who protect this blessing - who do this work every day: the health care providers, doctors, nurses, technicians, receptionists, who put your lives on the line to care for others (you are heroes -- in my eyes, you are saints); the escorts and the activists; the lobbyists and the clinic defenders; all of you. You're engaged in holy work."

I know nothing about this school or the denomination...but her views are quite radical. Dr. Ragsdale should speak to the thousands of post-abortive women who go through Rachel's Vineyard every year. These women don't feel blessed....some feel suicidal.
